The End of the Century

It's the end of the century! 2020 is tomorrow and we're all doing some end of the year, beginning of a new year, much needed self reflecting and goal setting. So, here is me reflecting: The end of 2019 has given me answered prayers and has used heartbreak as a mirror for me to look at the broken pieces of myself I need to fix. This end of the year emotional roller coaster I've been on is a tell-tell sign that great and life-changing things are about to take place in 2020. I'm excited to see exactly what God has in store. Here is me goal setting: This blog as well as my other blog (GOOD) will have new and improved looks with consistent content! Every year I say i'm going to be a better blogger but I never stay true to that...well, 2020 I am all about less talking and more action. If I say i'm a blogger then I have to...what? BLOG.

Important sidenote: this cute sweater is from Walmart! Yes, Wally World has nice clothes don't sleep on them!

As you can see I have tears falling from my eyes. It's not what you think they aren't tears of sadness nor of joy just a reaction from the super cold wind. Although these aren't tears of emotion, it certainly looks that way. This image above came out so powerful, it represents what i'm going through right now in my life. The amount of tears i've been crying these past couple of months are the most i've cried all year. But, at the end of the day i'm still here moving forward the best way I can. The pain, the disappointments, the heartache are only moments. The definition of a moment is "a very brief period of time", in other words it doesn't last. These moments we cry and we think the hurt will never end...then it does. We smile again. Now, the spotlight might shine on the sadness again for another moment but its only 15 minutes of fame. Joy is an icon, it overshadows sadness.

I pray everyone has an amazing end of 2019!!!
